Junior Accountant

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our accounting department. The successful candidate will handle daily accounting entries, ensure statutory compliance, and manage essential banking and trade documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- General Accounting & Reporting

Voucher Management: Execute and supervise the daily entry of purchase, sales, and expense vouchers into accounting programmes with high accuracy.

Financial Reporting: Generate periodic MIS reports and outstanding statements to provide management with visibility into the company’s financial health.

Receivables Management: Proactively follow up with customers for timely payment collection to maintain healthy cash flow.

- Statutory Compliance

Tax Coordination: Prepare and organize data for the timely filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and professional tax returns.

Liaison: Coordinate directly with the company’s appointed Chartered Accountants (CA) to ensure all filings adhere to current legal frameworks and deadlines.

- Banking & Trade Operations

Banking Correspondence:



Manage day-to-day banking activities, including the preparation of Bank Guarantee (BG) applications.

Import/Export Documentation: Handle import payment applications and ensure the timely submission of Bills of Entry (BoE) and other related regulatory documents.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with accounting software and Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office.

Software Familiarity: Basic knowledge of MProfit and Spectrum software is a significant plus; however, candidates must be proactive and open to learning the platform as part of their workflow.

Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS) and banking procedures.

Attributes: High level of integrity, solid organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict compliance deadlines.
