Role Description This full-time Jr Java Developer role is an on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Jr Java

Developer will work with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications that support enterprise clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, contributing to microservices-based architectures, implementing features using the Spring Framework,



and participating in code reviews. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and following established development, security, and quality standards.

The Jr Java

Developer will support continuous improvement by learning new tools and practices aligned with Programming.com’s engineering culture.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in Programming and Java for backend and application development.
- Experience in Software Development practices, including coding, testing, debugging, and version control.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and ability to work with distributed systems and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC) for building enterprise applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and basic cloud or DevOps concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, follow agile development practices, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Understanding of secure coding principles, performance optimization, and unit/integration testing frameworks is an advantage.
