Support finance and accounting operations for Japanese entities/business units by combining Japanese language expertise with accounting knowledge. Act as a bridge between Japan-based stakeholders and the Shared Services/Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Japanese Language Support
- Translate business documents, emails, SOPs, and financial reports between Japanese and English.
- Interpret during meetings, training sessions, audits, and business reviews.
- Coordinate with Japan-based stakeholders for finance-related queries and issue resolution.
- Accounting & Finance Operations
- Process and review transactions in:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Fixed Assets
- Bank Reconciliations
- Intercompany Accounting
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations.
- Assist in audit requests and compliance activities.
- Follow accounting policies, internal controls, and SOPs.
- Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with Japan business teams and global finance teams.
- Track and resolve accounting queries within agreed timelines.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.





Required Qualifications

Education- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.

- Japanese Language Skills
- Positive verbal and written communication in Japanese and English.
- Accounting Skills
- 2-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations.
- Knowledge of:
- AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets
- Financial Reporting
- Reconciliations
- Month-End Close
- Understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, or local accounting standards preferred.
- Systems Knowledge
- SAGE 300
