Key Responsibilities: Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement. Maintain accurate records of laptops, desktops, servers, software, and other IT assets. Track asset allocation, movement, ownership, and returns.
Perform regular asset verification and reconciliation. Manage asset inventory using ITAM tools such as ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus or similar tools. Support software license tracking and compliance.
Identify and update missing or incorrect asset information.
Coordinate with IT, procurement, vendors, and users for asset-related activities. Prepare regular IT asset reports and dashboards. Support asset audits and compliance requirements. Handle asset-related tickets and resolve user queries.
Maintain proper documentation for asset processes and procedures. Suggest improvements to the existing ITAM process.
Required Skills: 3–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management. Good knowledge of hardware and software asset management.
Experience with ITAM/Service Management tools. Basic understanding of software licensing and compliance. Good Excel/reporting skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work with multiple teams and vendors.
