About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, evaluating financial and operational processes, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal audits of financial records, accounting processes, and operational activities.
- Review and evaluate internal control systems to identify control gaps and potential risks.
- Verify financial transactions, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Perform process audits and assess compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Identify discrepancies, irregularities, and areas of improvement during audit assignments.
- Prepare audit reports, document observations, and recommend corrective actions.




- Follow up with clients and relevant departments to ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Assist in developing and improving audit procedures and internal control mechanisms.
- Coordinate with client teams to obtain necessary information and audit-related documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Semi-Qualified CA / B.Com / M.Com.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing procedures.
- Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in CA firms or skilled consulting firms will be preferred.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Candidates available to join immediately will be given preference.

Compensation

Salary up to ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
