The Investor Services

Intern, working in the team as an Analyst I, is a hands-on role at the heart of that accuracy, digging into exception reports, investigating cash outages and keeping financial transactions and reporting precise. You will bring curiosity, strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail to find the root cause of discrepancies and see them through to timely resolution. By working with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and using advanced Microsoft Excel for analysis and reconciliation, you will help make our operations faster, cleaner and more trustworthy. About the Role

Exception management and root cause analysis

- Perform root cause analysis of exception reports to identify and resolve discrepancies, so that issues are corrected at the source and do not repeat.
- Support exception management by tracking each exception through to closure, with clear documentation of findings and outcomes.

Cash investigations

- Conduct detailed investigations into cash outages and ensure timely resolution, minimizing the time that issues remain open.
- Escalate unresolved or recurring cash outage patterns to the appropriate stakeholders so that underlying causes are addressed.

Operational accuracy and reporting

- Maintain operational accuracy across financial transactions and reporting, so that figures are complete, consistent and reliable.




- Use advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting and reconciliation, producing clear outputs that stakeholders can trust.

Process improvement and collaboration

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency, reducing manual effort and turnaround time.
- Leverage knowledge of LSAMS, SQL and Agency Applications, where available, to enhance operational workflows and improve the quality of analysis (preferred but not mandatory).
- Share findings and improvement ideas with the team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and better ways of working.

Work environment

- This is a full-time, in-office role based in Chennai or Bangalore, working the mid-shift from 1 PM to 10 PM, with cab facility provided up to 22 km.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

- MBA or Post-Graduation in Finance.
- Strong foundation in Financial Operations and Accounting.
- Intermediate to Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Ability to maintain accuracy across financial transactions and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally.




- Availability to work in the office on the mid-shift from 1 PM to 10 PM in Chennai or Bangalore.
