Position: Instrumentation & Control Engineer/ Manager

Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control Engineering

Experience Instrumentation & Control Engineer

- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in industrial projects

Instrumentation & Control Manager
- 15+ years of relevant experience in industrial projects

Industry Preference Candidates with experience in Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Power, Fertilizer, Metals, Manufacturing, or other large Industrial Projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Instrumentation & Control Engineer

- Review instrumentation drawings, P&IDs;, instrument index, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and control system architecture.
- Coordinate installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of field instruments and control systems.
- Monitor project execution activities and ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues related to instrumentation and process control systems.
- Conduct loop checking, functional testing, and system integration activities.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process, and construction teams during project execution.
- Review vendor documents and provide technical support during procurement and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and plant operational requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.

Instrumentation & Control Manager




- Lead instrumentation and control engineering activities for large industrial projects and operating facilities.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, specifications, control philosophies, and automation strategies.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Oversee installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Drive process automation, reliability improvement, and digitalization initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, quality requirements, and HSE guidelines.
- Manage contractors, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams while ensuring achievement of project objectives.
