Responsible for the accurate and timely computation of all indirect tax liabilities, ensuring timely preparation and filing of statutory indirect tax returns. Accountable for maintaining compliance with applicable tax laws, preparing data and reconciliations for audits, assessments, and departmental inquiries, and supporting internal and external stakeholders in all indirect tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Ensure accurate computation of indirect tax liabilities and timely payment of taxes in compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation, review, and filing of all indirect tax returns and compliances, along with periodic reconciliation of tax GL balances.
- Maintain real-time compliance and reconciliation trackers, monitor open items, and proactively coordinate with Business Units (BUs) for timely closure.




- Manage and conclude indirect tax audits, assessments, and departmental inquiries by providing timely and accurate responses to auditors and tax authorities. Also, oversee GST and Pre-GST refund matters to ensure timely realization of eligible refunds.
- Perform GSTR-2B/GSTR-2A, E-Way Bill, and other statutory reconciliations, and effectively coordinate with business stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve compliance.
- Support automation, digitization, and system enhancement initiatives, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for recent tax processes, SAP developments, robotics, and compliance-related projects.

Qualifications and Experience

M Com, B Com, experience is preferred.
