As an Airline Weight &

- Balance Engineer, you will be responsible for Flight Management System configuration and implementation for airline customers. You will manage customer onboarding, support database configuration, perform weight and balance analysis, and contribute to flight safety initiatives. The role involves collaborating with airlines, internal stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

Flight Safety

- Ensure Flight Safety remains a primary focus throughout project delivery and operational support.

- Support safety compliance initiatives and operational best practices.

Database Management &

- Engineering

- Perform Airline Weight &
- Balance engineering data analysis (AHM565/X565).

- Configure and maintain Departure Control System (DCS) engineering, seating, and business-related data.

- Validate aircraft Weight &

- Balance data through testing and quality assurance activities.

- Analyze customer systems and service requirements.

- Identify actions required for successful product and service integration.

- Determine and document product adaptations and configurations.

Customer Implementation &

- Project Management

- Manage implementation projects and integration schedules for airline customers.

- Support project activities throughout implementation lifecycles.

- Ensure customized solutions meet business and operational requirements.

- Conduct functional and integration testing before solution deployment.

- Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution.

Training &

- Documentation

- Deliver training sessions to internal and external stakeholders.

- Maintain and enhance training materials and documentation.

- Manage training administration activities.

- Prepare functional specifications and ensure customer requirements are accurately documented.

Stakeholder Collaboration &

- Consulting

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and flight safety.





- Provide consultancy services to airline and aviation industry customers.

- Work with Product and R&D; teams to design, evaluate, and test new system capabilities against safety and compliance standards.

- Support business development and pre-sales activities with prospective customers.

- Provide functional support to sales teams and customer stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft Weight &
- Balance engineering and airline operations.

- Minimum 3 years of experience interpreting aircraft manufacturer technical documentation.

- Familiarity with systems engineering and requirements management.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.

- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, company events, and industry engagements.

- Solid attention to detail and commitment to operational quality.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of aviation regulations, certification requirements, and industry standards.

- Experience working within software development or product implementation environments.

- Understanding of aircraft performance engineering concepts.

- Experience supporting airport ramp operations.

- Ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.

- Experience in customer-facing implementation or consulting roles.
