Cleaning and Sanitizing

- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, windowsills and other surfaces in hotel public areas.

- Vacuum carpets and sweep or mop hard flooring.

- Clean and disinfect washrooms, toilets, sinks and other common facilities.

- Wipe down countertops, furniture, appliances and frequently touched surfaces.

- Maintain cleanliness in hotel lobbies, corridors, staircases and service areas.

Linen and Laundry Care

- Collect used bed sheets, pillow covers, towels and other linen from guest floors.

- Transport soiled linen to the designated laundry area.

- Distribute fresh linen and towels to housekeeping floors.

- Assist with washing, drying, folding and arranging linen when required.

- Maintain proper linen storage and organization.

Inventory and Organization

- Restock housekeeping supplies such as soap, toilet paper, towels and cleaning materials.

- Monitor housekeeping stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.

- Refill housekeeping trolleys and maintain cleaning equipment.

- Empty wastebaskets and dispose of garbage properly.

- Organize housekeeping stores, pantries and service areas.

Safety and Reporting

- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment and broken fixtures immediately.





- Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Place wet floor signs whenever necessary.

- Record and hand over lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor.

- Maintain proper safety and hygiene standards throughout the night shift.

Night Shift Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled cleaning activities during night operations.

- Attend to urgent housekeeping requirements and guest requests.

- Conduct regular cleaning rounds in assigned hotel areas.

- Coordinate with the night supervisor and other departments.

- Complete all assigned duties and hand over pending tasks before the end of the shift.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience as a Houseman or Housekeeping Associate in a hotel preferred.

- Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.

- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and housekeeping operations.

- Physically fit and capable of handling linen and cleaning equipment.

- Willingness to work night shifts.

- Must be punctual, disciplined and responsible.
