Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior DFT Engineer role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Senior DFT Engineer will design and implement DFT architectures, including scan, MBIST, LBIST, and boundary scan, ensuring testability and high coverage for complex SoCs.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with front-end design and verification teams, generating and reviewing test specifications, developing ATPG patterns, and optimizing test strategies for cost, quality, and yield. The role also involves analyzing test results, debugging test failures, driving improvements to test flows, and supporting silicon bring-up and production test. The engineer will mentor junior team members, contribute to methodology enhancements,



and engage with customers and internal stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Test Engineering and Test Execution for complex digital and mixed-signal designs.
- Experience designing and reviewing Test Cases, with hands-on involvement in Testing processes.
- Proficiency in Functional Testing and validation of DFT features at block and chip level.
- Solid experience with DFT tools and flows (e.g., scan insertion, ATPG, MBIST/LBIST, JTAG), and industry-standard EDA tools.
- In-depth knowledge of digital design, RTL, and verification concepts; familiarity with SoC architectures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to analyze complex test and silicon issues, drive root-cause investigation, and propose practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills, collaborative working style, and willingness to mentor and share knowledge.
- Experience in production test environments, yield improvement, and interaction with test engineering teams is an advantage.
