SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Consultant – Cloud ALM

Summary

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Solution Manager Consultant possessing deep, practical expertise in SAP Solution Manager 7.2, with a specific focus on Change Request Management (ChaRM), Transport Management, end-to-end change cycles, and Release Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing SAP change and transport workflows to guarantee seamless release cycles and robust change governance. Proficiency in SAP Cloud ALM is viewed as a significant asset for this role.

Location: Pan India

Responsibilities

- Oversee and maintain the full spectrum of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 capabilities.
- Administer Change Request Management (ChaRM) procedures, encompassing request submission, approval hierarchies, and workflow execution.
- Direct SAP transport management activities, facilitating the movement of transports across diverse system landscapes.
- Plan, coordinate, and track change cycles alongside release management initiatives.
- Uphold strict adherence to change governance protocols and transport procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues arising from ChaRM, transport logistics, and change cycle operations.
- Facilitate SAP release and deployment activities.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the uninterrupted operation of SAP change and transport environments.
- Deliver operational support during rotational shifts and weekend schedules as required.

Requirements

- Possess between 5 to 7+ years of relevant qualified experience within the SAP ecosystem.
- Demonstrate extensive hands-on proficiency with SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
- Exhibit specialized expertise in Change Request Management (ChaRM).
- Maintain a solid grasp of Transport Management concepts and transport movement methodologies.
- Have proven experience in managing Change Cycle Management.
- Understand SAP Release Management processes and their application.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to engage in rotational shift work and weekend support duties.

Good to Have

- Possess knowledge or direct hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM.
- Have been exposed to SAP Cloud ALM implementation, monitoring, or operational tasks.
- Show experience supporting intricate and complex SAP system landscapes.
