Role & responsibilities

- Own end-to-end design and execution of the financial aid process, from policy and eligibility frameworks through to disbursement and reconciliation

- Guide students and families through applications, deadlines, and documentation, explaining aid types, eligibility criteria and award structures

- Continuously review and improve financial aid workflows, forms, and systems to reduce turnaround time and improve the applicant experience

- Set and monitor annual financial aid budgets and disbursement forecasts in partnership with Finance leadership

- Establish and maintain financial aid policies, SOPs, and audit-ready documentation aligned with institutional and regulatory requirements





- Verify that information provided on financial aid forms and legal/financial documents is accurate, current, and consistent with supporting documentation

- Assess unusual circumstances and independently review, analyse, and resolve incomplete or conflicting data, escalating only where judgement calls carry institutional risk

- Lead periodic internal audits and compliance checks of the financial aid process, and act as the point of contact for external audits or reviews

- Identify and mitigate risks related to fraud, data errors, or non-compliance in aid disbursement
