1. Job Purpose

To safely and efficiently operate heavy vehicles for transporting company goods, materials and products to designated locations while ensuring timely delivery, vehicle safety and compliance with traffic regulations.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Operate heavy vehicles safely and responsibly for transporting company goods.

- Deliver products and materials to customers, dealers, branches and other designated locations on time.

- Ensure the safe loading, unloading and transportation of goods.

- Verify delivery documents, invoices, challans and other transport-related documents.

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

- Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights and other essential vehicle components regularly.

- Report any vehicle breakdown, accident, damage or maintenance requirements immediately.

- Follow the assigned routes and delivery schedules provided by the management.

- Maintain proper records of fuel consumption, kilometres travelled, trip details and delivery acknowledgements.

- Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations and company transportation policies.

- Ensure that goods are properly secured during transportation to prevent damage or loss.

- Maintain professional behaviour with customers, dealers, suppliers and company employees.

- Submit all delivery documents and trip reports to the concerned department after completing each trip.

- Avoid unauthorized vehicle usage and ensure the vehicle is used only for official purposes.





- Coordinate with the logistics and operations team regarding delivery schedules and transportation issues.

1. Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 10th standard qualification preferred.

- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Transport Driving Licence.

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in heavy vehicle driving.

- Good knowledge of road routes and traffic regulations.

- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Ability to handle long-distance transportation.

- Physically fit and capable of handling transportation-related responsibilities.

1. General Responsibilities

- Maintain discipline and punctuality at all times.

- Follow instructions issued by the management.

- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.

- Avoid unnecessary delays and unauthorized stops during official trips.

- Report daily work status and transportation-related issues to the reporting manager.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
