- Objective of job

- Responsible for Logistics of all India plants and warehouses

- Ensure flawless and faultless deliveries to the customers

- Ensure flawless and faultless material supply to production

- Disciplinary and Technical Lead of all assigned employees

- Ensure on time delivery to customers

- Principle activities

- Assign personnel to corresponding Logistics processes for optimal use of resources

- Train and instruct assigned personnel regarding guidelines and work instructions

- Make arrangements with the customer on production and delivery matters

- Supervise warehouse administration

- Supervise administration and maintenance of returnable delivery boxes and packing sleeves

- Give delivery sequence and internal delivery dates according to production, maintain a production control system and find solutions in agreement with customer and management

- Manage missing material and resupply to avoid production interruptions

- Receive monthly customer orders and call-offs, and make necessary arrangements within DMI and internal suppliers

- Supervise flawless function of logistic equipment and arranges maintenance





- Organize and improve logistic processes in agreement with general management

- Handle disciplinary measures in agreement with general management

- Implement and monitor KPIs for performance measurement of responsible areas

- Supervise cleanliness in responsible areas

- Maintain permanent contact with QA & Production departments

- Act as key interface between Plant Logistics and Logistics Project Team

- Job requirements

Specialized Knowledge/ Education

- Diploma or Degree in technical stream

Work Experience

- Minimum 10 Years of relevant professional experience (preferably in Logistics)

- Relevant leadership experience

Additional Knowledge

- Excellent knowledge in English language

- Advanced computer skills

- Solid presentation, communication and people management skills
