Role Description The Head of Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for leading the engineering organization and delivering robust IoT and M2M solutions. This role oversees end-to-end software and platform development, including architecture, design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of Sensorise’s connectivity and lifecycle management products. The Head of Engineering will guide multiple cross-functional teams, set technical standards, manage project roadmaps, and ensure timely,



high-quality releases aligned with business goals and customer requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring engineering leaders, coordinating with product management and operations, optimizing engineering processes, and driving innovation, scalability, security, and performance across all systems. The role also includes budgeting and resource planning, risk management, and collaboration with senior leadership on technology strategy and long-term roadmap.

Qualifications

- Robust team leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
- Deep experience in engineering management, including overseeing multiple projects, managing technical roadmaps, and aligning engineering priorities with business strategy.
- Proficiency in project management for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, including planning, risk mitigation, and delivery in fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on background in software development, preferably in distributed systems, cloud platforms, telecom, IoT, or M2M solutions.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient architectures, with familiarity in APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms.
- Proven ability to collaborate with product, operations, and customer-facing teams, translating customer needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and drive consensus.
