Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced and energetic Senior Lead Corporate Communications to drive the organization's corporate communication, media relations, public relations and crisis communication initiatives.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans to enhance the company's brand image, strengthen stakeholder relationships and ensure effective management of corporate reputation.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the regional media landscape, an established network of media professionals, and proven expertise in managing media relations, crisis situations, corporate branding and internal communications.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Media Relations & Public Relations

- Develop and execute comprehensive media relations strategies to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors and key media representatives.
- Proactively pitch stories and secure positive media coverage for the company's initiatives, achievements and business developments.
- Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities to address inaccuracies, negative narratives and reputational concerns.
- Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and external communications.
- Prepare press releases, media statements, media kits and other corporate communication materials.
- Organize press conferences, media briefings and other media engagement activities.

2. Crisis Communication & Reputation Management

- Develop and implement effective crisis communication strategies to manage sensitive situations and mitigate reputational risks.
- Handle media-related issues and ensure timely and appropriate communication during critical situations.




- Monitor emerging issues and potential reputational threats.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop appropriate messaging and communication responses.

3. Corporate Branding & Promotional Activities

- Plan and execute corporate branding initiatives to strengthen the organization's brand presence and visibility.
- Drive advertising, outdoor branding, corporate events, exhibitions, promotional campaigns and corporate films.
- Identify opportunities to enhance brand positioning through effective communication strategies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of branding and promotional initiatives.

4. Internal Communications

- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure effective information flow across the organization.
- Manage internal communication platforms such as intranet, newsletters, communication briefs and employee announcements.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to communicate organizational initiatives, achievements and important updates.

5. Stakeholder Management & Coordination

- Work closely with Operations, Project Teams, HR, CSR, Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R;) and other internal departments.
- Develop innovative communication strategies to support business operations and project-related activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, media representatives and relevant institutions.
- Support internal teams in communicating key business developments and organizational initiatives.

6. Budgeting & Performance Management

- Develop and manage the corporate communication budget.
- Track and analyse media coverage to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Prepare periodic reports on media engagement, brand visibility and communication performance.
- Stay updated on industry developments, media trends and best practices in corporate communications.
