Position Summary

The Hardware Asset Management Analyst plays a key operational role in supporting the hardware asset procurement and deployment process within the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team. This role is responsible for executing and overseeing day-to-day tasks related to hardware order fulfilment, from request processing to delivery and initial setup. The Analyst ensures accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs) and internal policies, contributing to the seamless delivery of IT services and the integrity of the IT asset inventory. This role contributes to the operational effectiveness of IT Asset Management (ITAM) by ensuring the accurate and timely execution of hardware order fulfilment tasks. Its impact is realised through supporting efficient procurement workflows, contributing to reduced lead times, and ensuring hardware assets are provisioned effectively. By maintaining accurate inventory data and supporting the overall efficiency of the HAM team, the Analyst helps meet service level agreements, enhances user satisfaction, and contributes to cost control through diligent asset tracking and management.

Work you'll do

As a HAM on the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team, you will be responsible for...

- Process and track hardware orders from intake through delivery; keep stakeholders informed and address delays or discrepancies.
- Triage order, delivery, hardware, and peripheral issues; coordinate fixes and escalate complex cases.
- Manage offboarding, IT separation, leave-of-absence, and mobility cases, including related communications and portal updates.
- Coordinate with IT support, logistics, product teams, and vendors to support delivery, setup, and issue resolution.
- Track overdue items, document Circular Services, maintain records, and follow established policies and procedures.

Shift Timings: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (7:30 AM to 5:00 PM UK Time)

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, logistics, operations, hardware procurement, hardware order fulfilment, or IT asset management.
- Experience using Microsoft Office to maintain case records, service documentation, or reports.
- Experience using ServiceNow or another IT service management ticketing tool.
- Experience with hardware asset management processes or IT asset management (ITAM) tools.

Preferred:
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Completion of Service Operations training.
- Experience maintaining Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records.
- Experience supporting IT procurement in a centralized infrastructure or shared-services environment.
- Certification in supply chain management or procurement.
