Role Description The Google automobile role at Car Body Design is a full time hybrid position based in the Greater Chennai Area, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. This role focuses on researching, curating, and publishing content related to Google-connected automotive technologies, digital dashboards, and emerging vehicle interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring industry trends, gathering technical and design information, drafting and editing articles, preparing visual assets and metadata, and optimizing content for search engines.

The role also involves collaborating with the editorial team on content planning, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines,



and engaging with the online community through comments and social channels. The successful candidate will help strengthen Car Body Design’s coverage of technology-driven automotive design topics while ensuring accurate, timely, and engaging content.

Qualifications

- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical automotive and digital technology concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience with online research, information verification, and sourcing credible industry and technology references.
- Familiarity with web publishing tools, content management systems, and basic SEO principles.
- Interest in automotive design, human–machine interfaces, and connected vehicle technologies, particularly involving Google platforms and services.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage time effectively, and collaborate with remote and local team members in the Greater Chennai Area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in automotive journalism, technical writing, UX/UI documentation, or digital product content is an advantage.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including using analytics tools to understand audience behavior and refine content.
