Business Development &

- Customer Acquisition

- Source recent gold loan customers through branch walk-ins, local market outreach, customer referrals, and other approved sourcing channels.
- Achieve assigned business targets for gold loan disbursements, portfolio growth, and customer acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and customer retention.
- drive various cross sell activities as deemed fit by management

Customer Onboarding &

- Loan Processing

- Complete customer onboarding, KYC verification, application processing, and documentation as per Bank policy.
- Ensure accurate entry of customer, loan, and collateral details in the Bank’s designated systems.

Gold Valuation &

- Loan Assessment

- Coordinate gold purity testing, weighing, and valuation through authorized personnel or approved processes –
- Approved LTV, applicable credit policy. Etc.
- Ensure proper recording of gold ornaments, valuation details, and loan eligibility before disbursement.

Loan Disbursement &

- Operational Controls

- Coordinate loan approval and disbursement in accordance with the Bank’s delegated authority matrix and process guidelines.
- Ensure proper packing, sealing,



labelling, documentation, and secure transfer of pledged gold to the designated vault/custodian.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to maker-checker controls and segregation of duties.

Portfolio Servicing &

- Collections

- Track loan repayment schedules, overdue accounts, renewals, and eligible top-up requests.
- Follow up with customers for timely repayment and coordinate with the collections team for delinquent accounts.
- Support loan closure, repayment reconciliation, and timely release of pledged gold upon fulfilment of applicable requirements.

Compliance Risk and Audit.

- Adhere to the Bank’s gold loan policy, SOPs, KYC/AML requirements, and applicable RBI guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with prescribed controls for gold custody, inventory reconciliation, audit trails, and collateral release.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and operational reviews, and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Immediately escalate any suspected fraud, gold-related discrepancies, process deviations, or operational risks.
