Jet Freight Logistics Limited (JFLL) is looking for an experienced and business-driven General Manager – Warehousing & Operations to lead and grow its warehousing vertical.

The role involves driving current business development and client acquisition, managing key customer relationships, overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations, optimizing resources, controlling costs and ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in the logistics and warehousing industry, with proven expertise in business development, operations management and team leadership.

Candidate must be based in Mumbai, with strong experience in freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development: Drive new client acquisition, revenue growth, commercial negotiations and expansion of existing accounts.
2. Warehouse Operations: Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory management, space utilization, manpower planning and service delivery.
3. P&L; & Profitability: Own business P&L;, budgets and operating costs, driving cost optimization and sustainable profitability.
4. Client Relationship Management: Manage key accounts, customer escalations,



service quality and SLA adherence.
5. Team Leadership: Lead warehouse and operations teams, set performance targets and drive productivity.
6. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure statutory compliance, warehouse safety, security, audits and inventory control.
7. MIS & Performance Monitoring: Track business performance, revenue, GP, operational KPIs and productivity, reporting to senior management

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 12–18 years of experience in Warehousing, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
- Strong experience in business development and warehouse operations.
- Proven ability to acquire new clients and generate business revenue.
- Hands-on experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and WMS.
- Experience in P&L; management, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Solid leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP, and Warehouse Management Systems.
