Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Surgeon role based in Hyderabad.

The General

Surgeon will perform a wide range of surgical procedures, manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes. Daily responsibilities include assessing patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves adhering to clinical guidelines, participating in case discussions, supervising supporting medical staff when required,



and contributing to continuous improvement in patient safety and surgical practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine and general clinical practice, with the ability to manage diverse patient presentations.
- Proficiency in core Surgery skills, including performing common general surgical procedures and managing surgical emergencies.
- Experience or exposure in Orthopedic Surgery to support musculoskeletal and trauma-related surgical care.
- Experience or exposure in Plastic Surgery techniques, particularly for reconstructive and corrective procedures as needed.
- Basic understanding of Ophthalmology-related surgical considerations to coordinate care for patients with eye-related conditions.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery, with valid registration from the relevant medical council.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and evidence-based medicine.
- Solid communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure clinical environments.
- Prior experience as a practicing surgeon in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
