Position: General Manager – LAP & Business Loans

Location: Bengaluru / Mumbai

Reporting: Business Head / Leadership Team

Roles & Responsibilities:

This role focuses on driving business growth across LAP and Business Loans through direct sourcing, banking partnerships, and end-to-end loan execution. The position combines business development, lending expertise, team leadership, and revenue ownership. It is a combination of individual contribution (IC) role with lean team management to drive sales outcomes.

- Business Growth: Drive LAP and Business Loan volumes through direct sourcing and customer acquisition.
- Lead Generation: Build a strong sourcing pipeline through market networks, referrals, and existing relationships.
- Banking Partnerships: Develop relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Loan Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete process from lead generation to loan disbursement.
- Credit & Product Knowledge: Ensure strong understanding of eligibility, credit policies, underwriting.
- Team Management: Lead a lean team of 2–4 members and drive business performance.
- Disbursement Management:



Coordinate with lending partners to ensure timely approvals and disbursements.
- Revenue & Portfolio Management: Achieve business targets while maintaining portfolio quality.
- Market Development: Identify current opportunities and strengthen partner relationships through market engagement.

Desired Candidate

- 10–15 years of experience in LAP, Business Loans, or secured lending.
- Currently working in a similar role with hands-on sourcing experience.
- Strong knowledge of lending products, credit assessment, and underwriting.
- Established relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Proven experience in self-sourcing and driving business independently.
- Experience managing a lean team of 3–4 members.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Target-oriented with a strong commercial mindset and hustler's approach.
- Comfortable with occasional business travel.
