About the role
IntVerse Inc. is hiring multiple GenAI Platform Engineers to design, build, and operate an enterprise agentic AI platform within the SAP ecosystem for a global client. You’ll own the control plane — orchestration, gateways, agent lifecycle, knowledge stores, governance, and observability — and define how AI agents are built, evaluated, and safely run at scale. These are offshore roles based in India, working with global delivery and client teams.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and operate Control Plane components: Master Orchestrator, API Gateway, Agent Gateway(s), and Agent Lifecycle Manager
- Implement scalable event-driven workflows on Kafka — topic structure, retention, and partitioning strategy
- Design and operate agent runtimes and sandboxes: deployment, isolation, secrets distribution, versioning
- Build and maintain the Agent Registry, Agent Marketplace, and governed intake/approval flows integrated with a policy engine
- Integrate and manage knowledge stores — vector DB, knowledge graph, search index, object store — including retention, encryption, and access patterns
- Implement secrets management and policy enforcement (HashiCorp Vault or equivalent) with full auditability into SIEM/audit logs
- Build secure connectors to external tooling via an MCP Gateway (issue trackers, test automation, process modeling, RPA, ERPs) and manage multi-protocol integrations (gRPC, REST, webhooks, A2A)
- Implement observability — metrics, traces, logs, Grafana dashboards — and own SLOs/SLA monitoring for platform services and agents
- Build CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes for platform services and agent images
- Define agent quality metrics (accuracy, grounding, tool-use correctness, latency,
cost); implement regression testing, golden datasets, and drift detection across agent and model versions
- Configure confidence thresholds, approvals, and escalation paths; capture SME feedback to continuously improve agent behavior
- Manage prompt/model versioning, A/B and canary releases, rollback strategies, and runtime policy enforcement
- Produce architecture docs and runbooks, own incident-response playbooks, and mentor engineers on secure agent development
- Partner with security, compliance, and product teams on governance, RBAC, approval flows, and chargeback/usage reporting
What you bring
- 5+ years building and operating distributed platform or infrastructure services (platform engineering, SRE, or backend)
- Solid production experience with event-driven architectures and messaging (Kafka or equivalent)
- Proficiency deploying and operating services on Kubernetes or similar
- Experience designing API Gateways and microservices (REST/gRPC)
- Hands-on Python for orchestration and microservices
- Secrets management and enterprise policy enforcement (HashiCorp Vault or equivalent)
- Observability and tracing (Prometheus/Grafana)
- SQL and NoSQL stores (Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis) and object storage (S3)
- Vector databases or embedding pipelines (Qdrant, Milvus, Pinecone) and knowledge graph technologies (Neo4j or RDF)
- OpenSearch/Elasticsearch for indexing and search
- LLM integration patterns and RAG architectures
- Hands-on LLM/agent evaluation frameworks — automated testing, SME review loops, quality baselining, drift monitoring
- Experience implementing HITL systems for AI validation, exception handling, and decision augmentation
- Strong understanding of model, prompt, and agent governance — controlled rollouts, responsible AI risks, cost/token optimization
- Security best practices, RBAC, audit logging, and enterprise compliance
- Excellent communication; experience working cross-functionally with product and security teams
Preferred
- Policy engines or governance tooling (OPA or custom frameworks)
- Enterprise SSO/AD integration and identity federation
- MCP-style gateway integrations with Jira, SAP Signavio, test automation frameworks
- Regulated-environment experience (GDPR, HIPAA) or large enterprise governance programs
- Ownership of platform SLAs and chargeback/reporting systems
Key deliverables Architecture diagrams and sequence flows; CI/CD pipelines and Helm manifests; runbooks; automated tests for orchestration logic and integration adapters; agent development and onboarding documentation; agent evaluation scorecards and dashboards; HITL workflow and escalation designs; model and prompt governance documentation.
Work arrangement
Offshore — India. Multiple positions available. Collaboration with global delivery and client teams across time zones.
