Job Title: GDA Faculty – General Duty Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable GDA Faculty member to train students in General Duty Assistant (GDA) courses. The candidate will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical training in basic patient care, hygiene, infection control, and hospital support services.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theoretical and practical classes for GDA students.
- Train students in basic patient care and bedside assistance.
- Demonstrate patient hygiene, grooming, and personal care procedures.
- Teach vital signs monitoring, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Train students in patient positioning, mobility, and transportation.
- Explain infection prevention and control practices.
- Provide training on biomedical waste management.
- Teach basic first aid and emergency response procedures within the GDA scope.
- Demonstrate proper use of basic healthcare equipment.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, assessments, and examinations.
- Maintain attendance, student progress reports,



and academic records.
- Coordinate hospital visits, clinical exposure, and practical training.
- Ensure students follow skilled ethics and patient safety standards.

Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM / ANM / Diploma in Nursing or equivalent healthcare qualification.
- Relevant healthcare training or clinical experience preferred.
- Teaching experience in healthcare or skill development programs will be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
- Strong practical demonstration and training skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety.
- Ability to handle practical laboratory sessions.
- Patience and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to motivate and guide students.
