The Freelance Recruiter role at SignScout is a part-time, remote opportunity focused on supporting startup and growth-stage clients with end-to-end hiring. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and engaging candidates through multiple channels, screening profiles and conducting initial conversations, and assessing candidate fit based on role requirements and company culture.

Recruiter will coordinate interviews, manage stakeholder communication, and support offer negotiation and closure in collaboration with hiring managers and founders.



This role also involves maintaining accurate candidate pipelines, providing regular status updates, and contributing insights on market trends and talent availability to improve search strategies and client outcomes.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in talent sourcing and screening, including the ability to identify and engage qualified candidates across digital platforms and professional networks.
- Skills in stakeholder management and communication, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with founders, hiring managers, and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Ability to conduct structured interviews and candidate assessments, with a focus on evaluating skills, experience, and culture alignment for startup and leadership roles.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple active roles, maintain detailed pipelines, and meet agreed timelines in a part-time, remote setting.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruitment tools, along with proficiency in using spreadsheets and online collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of talent markets in sectors such as SaaS and B2B Tech, D2C and Consumer Brands, Fintech, and other high-growth domains is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in agency recruiting, executive search, or startup hiring is preferred, with a track record of successful placements in sales, marketing, technology, or leadership roles.
- Ability to work independently, with own network and maintain professional ethics.
