We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, GraphQL, AWS cloud services, and API Gateway technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services, API integrations, and cloud-native architectures.

The project involves building and enhancing a multi-region API gateway architecture with authentication, authorization, fine-grained access control (ACL), GraphQL federation, and distributed cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate GraphQL APIs, GraphQL Mesh, resolvers, and federated services.
- Design and implement API gateway solutions using Apigee and Kong Konnect .
- Develop and manage AWS cloud-native applications using ECS, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and token-based security.
- Design and implement fine-grained access control (ACL), RBAC, and scope-based authorization.
- Develop middleware and plugins for request validation, header transformation, authentication, and authorization.
- Implement caching strategies using Redis and optimize API performance.
- Design multi-region and highly available AWS architectures.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Integrate backend services with databases, external APIs, and distributed systems.
- Implement logging, monitoring, observability, and error handling.




- Work on secure API communication and enterprise-level gateway integrations.
