Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the institute. The role includes managing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and preparing periodic financial statements and management reports.

The Finance

Manager will ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies, supervise accounting activities such as accounts payable/receivable and payroll, and coordinate audits. This position will also support strategic decision-making by analyzing financial performance, identifying cost optimization opportunities,



and advising leadership on financial planning and risk management. Collaboration with other departments to align financial processes with training operations and organizational goals is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong financial management and accounting skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis, cash flow management, and cost control to support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with financial and accounting software, spreadsheets, and business productivity tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant financial regulations, compliance requirements, and audit practices.
- Candidates should possess solid communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Candidates should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional certification (such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a finance leadership or managerial role, ideally within education, training, or service-oriented organizations, is highly beneficial.
