Finance & BizOps Manager, Real Estate & Hospitality

We’re an Austin-based group with boutique hotels in Texas and vacation rentals across five states. We’re growing through M&A;, and we’re hiring a full-time, remote BizOps Manager who figures things out and gets things done.

We’re a small, fast-moving team that leans heavily on AI tools to multiply our output.

THE ROLE

This is a senior individual contributor seat reporting directly to our CEO, Franklin. It’s not a specialist role. We value financial literacy, sharp thinking and problem-solving instincts over deep expertise in any single area. Expect a mix of recurring work and whatever finance or ops challenge shows up that week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Acquisitions diligence (ETERNITI)

- Work through target data rooms: organize what’s there and flag what’s missing
- Verify seller financials and owner statements against property management software, booking data and tax returns, and chase down discrepancies
- Run our diligence process on each deal and benchmark key metrics against past acquisitions
- Spot what looks off (ratios that don’t make sense, numbers that don’t tie) and dig in unprompted




- Follow up with sellers on open items and summarize findings for the deal team

Insurance and entity admin (all entities)
- Own the insurance calendar: renewals, premium audits, payment dates and reporting deadlines
- Keep policies, broker contacts, entity details and ownership info centralized and current
- Prepare renewal submissions (property schedules, values, loss runs, revenue, payroll, headcount) and work directly with our broker
- Track premium payments, handle lender insurance reporting and certificate requests, and make sure nothing lapses
- Stay on top of recurring admin such as license renewals

Reporting and ad hoc analysis (all entities)
- Pull historicals from Juniper Square and partner with accounting to get leadership the numbers they need
- Build debt schedules and one-pagers, such as partner loans made to an entity
- Support the French Cowboys accounting team with reports, reviews and comps
- Build consistent reporting to compare performance across businesses and markets
- Prepare the data, charts and tables behind business reviews and investor updates, reconciled to accounting before anything goes out
- Turn current recurring work into repeatable processes as we grow

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in finance, management consulting or BizOps
- Solid real estate finance foundation: property-level P&Ls;, balance sheets, NOI,



debt and ownership structures, and an eye for what doesn’t tie
- A fast learner who has been trusted with more everywhere you’ve worked
- A strong generalist, comfortable with ambiguity: you log into a new system, figure it out, and build the process when none exists
- Highly organized: you juggle multiple stakeholders, build your own trackers and never miss a deadline
- AI native: you use Claude, ChatGPT and similar tools daily to analyze documents and data, build reports and automate repetitive work, and you always check the output
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Excellent written and spoken English; you keep people updated without being asked and are comfortable dealing with brokers, sellers, lenders and accountants
- Available on US Central Time, 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend flexibility

NICE TO HAVE
- Background in vacation rentals, hotels, real estate or a PE-backed roll-up
- Exposure to acquisitions diligence (we’ll teach our process)
- Experience with commercial insurance renewals or audits
- Asset management analyst experience at a hotel owner or REIT
- Familiarity with hotel, vacation rental or real estate software

LOGISTICS
- Location: Remote, Latin America preferred
- Type: Full-time, 5 days a week
- Hours: US Central Time - 7pm - 4am IST
