About the Role

Vani Kabir Multiverse Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced, commercially astute Finance & Accounts Head to oversee the company's financial operations, planning, cash management and accounting functions.

We are specifically looking for a finance professional who can go beyond routine accounting and compliance to contribute to financial decision-making, investment planning, resource allocation and long-term business growth.

The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, practical experience managing company finances and the ability to advise leadership on financial opportunities and risks.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Strategy

- Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across departments.
- Prepare financial models, profitability analyses and ROI assessments.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to founders.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved profitability.

Treasury & Investment Management

- Manage company cash flow, liquidity and working capital.
- Evaluate options for deploying surplus company funds into suitable financial instruments.
- Assess investment opportunities based on returns, liquidity and risk.
- Plan fund allocation and ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
- Support leadership in investment-related and capital allocation decisions.

Finance & Accounting Operations

- Oversee daily financial operations, accounting processes and reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, vendor payments and banking operations.
- Supervise financial reporting, monthly closures and management information systems (MIS).
- Ensure accuracy in financial records and reporting.
- Manage financial operations specific to D2C and e-commerce businesses, including payment gateways, refunds and settlements.





Compliance & Internal Controls

- Oversee GST, TDS, audits and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and financial institutions.
- Establish internal financial controls and improve financial processes.
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounts function.

Candidate Requirements
- 6–12 years of relevant experience in finance, financial management or corporate finance.
- CA, CA Inter, MBA Finance, M.Com or equivalent relevant qualifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, treasury, cash flow management and investments.
- Practical experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and ROI analysis.
- Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Experience advising business owners or senior management on financial decisions.
- Strong analytical, communication and leadership capabilities.
- Experience in D2C, e-commerce or growing businesses will be an advantage.

Important Clarification This is not a traditional accounting-only position.

We require someone capable of managing company finances strategically, evaluating investment and capital allocation opportunities, improving financial efficiency and supporting informed business decisions.

Candidates with experience limited to bookkeeping, taxation, GST filing or routine accounting may not be suitable.

Compensation & Location

- Maximum compensation: ₹80,000 per month in hand.
- Final compensation will depend on experience, capabilities and interview assessment.
- Full-time, in-office position in Gurugram, Haryana.
- Candidates must be comfortable working from the Gurugram office.
- Immediate or early joiners preferred.
