About the Role The Engineer Level 2 will execute advanced installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system optimization for semiconductor manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision. The role also involves mentoring Level 1 engineers and providing advanced troubleshooting expertise to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on semiconductor equipment and systems.

- Install, configure, and optimise semiconductor manufacturing systems to meet performance specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections for complex equipment configurations. • Collaborate with customers to train their staff on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and basic service procedures.
- Lead l service activities for assigned small projects, including modifications, parts management,



tool calibration and manage timelines for successful completion.
- Provide technical support directly and escalate issues to senior engineers or internal engineering teams as necessary.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on equipment, diagnostics, and service processes. • Support root-cause analysis for recurring faults and contribute to corrective and continuous improvement actions.
- Maintain accurate service records and prepare detailed service reports, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes and how they affect customer output.
- Confident use of TEL systems and processes (e.g., IPDB, TELCUSTOMER.COM, Merit).
