Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our woodworking and furniture manufacturing facility, catering to commercial interior fit-out projects.

The candidate will be responsible for managing factory production, manpower, machinery, material planning, quality control, and timely execution of manufacturing activities while ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Factory Operations & Production Management
- Oversee day-to-day factory operations and production activities.
- Plan, monitor, and control production schedules based on project requirements.
- Ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch of wooden furniture, fixtures, doors, panels, partitions, and custom-built interior elements.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manpower Management
- Manage factory workforce, including supervisors, carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and helpers.
- Allocate manpower based on production priorities and project deadlines.
- Monitor workforce productivity, attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Technical & Manufacturing Knowledge
- Ensure proper execution of woodworking, carpentry, furniture manufacturing, laminating, veneering, polishing, and finishing activities.
- Understand technical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and production specifications.
- Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of woodworking machinery and equipment.
- Quality Control
- Maintain quality standards across all stages of manufacturing.
- Ensure finished products meet approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.




- Minimize material wastage, production defects, and rework.
- Material & Inventory Management
- Coordinate with the procurement and stores teams for timely availability of raw materials.
- Monitor inventory of plywood, MDF, veneers, laminates, timber, hardware, adhesives, and other consumables.
- Control material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Project Coordination & Dispatch
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Design, Procurement, and Site Execution teams.
- Ensure production priorities are aligned with project execution schedules.
- Monitor packing, dispatch, and delivery of finished products to project sites.
- Cost & Process Optimization
- Monitor production costs and control operational expenses.
- Implement efficient manufacturing processes and improve machine utilization.
- Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety and proper handling of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping and factory discipline.
- Ensure compliance with applicable factory safety and statutory requirements.

Key Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in factory management, preferably in woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out industries.
- Strong knowledge of wooden furniture manufacturing and customized interior products.
- Experience in managing large factory operations and production teams.
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery, production planning, and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings.
- Strong manpower management, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of material management, costing, and production efficiency.

Preferred Industry Commercial Interior Fit-Out / Wooden Furniture Manufacturing / Modular Furniture / Joinery Manufacturing.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
