Deliver high-quality teaching in English Literature, support student learning and contribute to research and academic activities within the department.

Key responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in English Literature.

Develop course materials, lecture plans, reading lists, and assessments.

Guide students in literary analysis, academic writing, and research.

Assess coursework and exams, and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Hold office hours and support students’ academic progress.

Contribute to curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic events.

Conduct research and publish scholarly work, where required.

Support student projects, dissertations, or research activities.

Qualifications and skills

Master’s degree in English Literature or a related field; a PhD is often preferred or required.

Solid knowledge of literary texts, periods, genres, and critical approaches.

Pay: ₹48,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
