Department: Electrical Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems in port material handling equipment.
- Handle electrical maintenance of conveyors, stacker reclaimers, ship loaders, wagon tipplers, crushers, feeders, and other bulk material handling systems.
- Troubleshoot HT/LT motors, transformers, VFDs, MCCs, PCCs, switchgear, and electrical control systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of PLC, SCADA, electrical interlocks, and protection systems.
- Monitor equipment performance, improve reliability, and minimize breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO, PTW, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with operations, mechanical, instrumentation, and OEM teams for efficient maintenance.
- Manage maintenance manpower, critical spares, and maintenance documentation.

Qualification & Experience





- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering – Minimum 4 years of experience.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering – Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Experience in large-scale Material Handling Systems (MHS) in Cement, Steel, or Power Plant industries.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Port operations and maintenance is mandatory.

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience in HT/LT systems, motors, VFDs, PLC, SCADA, MCC, PCC, and transformers.
- Solid troubleshooting and maintenance planning skills.
- Knowledge of SAP PM/CMMS will be an added advantage.
