– DTP Operator (Educational Publishing)

Position : Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator

(Immediate Requirement) Job Location : CherryTop Education Pvt. Ltd. Srinivasapura, Yelahanka, Bengaluru

Working Hours : 9.30 am to 6 pm Key

Responsibilities 

Typeset and format educational content for books, question banks, mock tests, and study materials.



Prepare layouts using Adobe InDesign, PageMaker, CorelDRAW, MS Word, MS Excel, MathType, and other DTP tools.

 Format mathematical equations, scientific symbols, tables, charts, and diagrams accurately.

 Maintain consistent fonts, styles, spacing, page layouts, and document formatting according to company standards.

 Coordinate with authors, editors, proofreaders, and quality control teams to implement corrections.

 Generate print-ready and PDF files for publication.

 Maintain proper file version control and backups.

 Complete assigned projects within scheduled deadlines while ensuring high accuracy. Required Skills

 Good typing speed and accuracy.

 Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, PageMaker, MathType, MS Word, and MS Excel is preferable.





 Good English communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to understand and implement editorial instructions accurately.

 Strong attention to detail and formatting consistency.

 Ability to handle educational content.

 Valuable time management and multitasking skills. Educational Qualification  Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc., B.E., B.Tech., or equivalent)

 Diploma/ITI in Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, or related fields will be an added advantage.

 Candidates with a Science background will be given preference. Experience  Freshers with good aptitude are welcome.

 Candidates with prior DTP or educational publishing experience will be preferred. Training

 Comprehensive 6-month on-the-job training will be provided. Preferred Candidate Profile

 Willing to work in a deadline-driven environment.

 Good communication and teamwork skills.

 Committed to delivering high-quality work.
