Dispatch & Store Manager

Role PurposeResponsible for planning, coordinating and managing all dispatch operations to ensure accurate, timely and cost-effective delivery of finished goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch Planning: Plan daily dispatches based on customer schedules, delivery commitments and material readiness.
- Packing & Dispatch: Ensure correct packing, labelling, identification and quantity
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock of Raw Material, WIP and Finished Goods; ensure proper identification, location and records.verification before dispatch.
- Documentation: Preparing Dispatch advice, ensure Invocie/E-way bill etc. generated as per Dispatch advice
- Logistics Management: Coordinate with transporters/ Porter/ Company owned vehicles & ensure timely movement of goods.
- Order & Delivery Tracking: Monitor dispatch status, track deliveries and proactively address delays or delivery issues.
- Inventory Coordination: Oversee Stores operations, co-ordinate with Production and Quality to ensure finished goods are available, inspected and ready for dispatch.
- ERP & Records: Maintain accurate dispatch entries, transporter details, freight records and delivery documentation in ERP.
- Team Management: Allocate responsibilities, supervise Store personnel and ensure discipline,



productivity and housekeeping.
- Customer Coordination: Coordinate with customers regarding dispatch schedules, delivery requirements and proof of delivery.
- Process Improvement: Develop and maintain standard dispatch processes to improve accuracy, turnaround time and cost efficiency.

Experience & Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Dispatch / Logistics / Stores, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of dispatch documentation, GST invoices and e-way bills.
- Experience in transporter coordination, freight negotiation and vehicle planning.
- Working knowledge of ERP/Tally and MS Excel.
- Valuable coordination, follow-up and team management skills.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage dispatch operations with minimal supervision.
- High integrity, ownership and execution discipline
