We Are Hiring | Director of Engineering – SaaS Operations & SRE | India

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Leader for one of our clients to lead software engineering and strengthen the reliability, scalability and operational excellence of SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and scale software engineering teams responsible for SaaS platforms.
- Drive platform reliability, availability, scalability and performance.
- Embed Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices within software engineering.
- Strengthen incident management, root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Drive observability, automation and production engineering excellence.
- Establish and improve SLOs, SLIs, error budgets and MTTR metrics.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure and DevOps teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile:





- 15+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- Significant experience leading software engineering teams.
- Solid background in SaaS or enterprise software product engineering.
- Hands-on understanding of SRE and production reliability engineering.
- Experience with incident management, RCA, observability and service availability.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, microservices, DevOps and CI/CD.

Important: We are specifically looking for an Engineering Leader with genuine SRE/reliability engineering experience, not a purely DevOps or infrastructure-focused professional.
