Job Summary

We are looking for an Embedded Engineer with strong Embedded C development experience to develop, maintain and optimize firmware for industrial manufacturing equipment. The candidate will work closely with hardware, controls and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable, efficient and high-performance embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain embedded software applications using Embedded C for industrial controllers, sensors and actuators.
2. Design and implement firmware architectures based on hardware and system requirements.
3. Optimize firmware to improve machine cycle times, energy efficiency and manufacturing throughput.
4. Integrate embedded software with electronic control units, hardware boards and plant-level systems.
5. Develop diagnostics and fault-handling mechanisms to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
6. Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and firmware validation.
7. Troubleshoot embedded software and hardware integration issues and implement corrective fixes.
8. Collaborate with hardware engineers, vendors, product managers and process engineering teams.
9. Validate new boards, sensors and communication modules for compatibility with existing systems.

Prepare technical documentation covering software design, interfaces, configurations and test results.
11. Follow coding standards, quality processes and industrial safety requirements.
12. Contribute to reusable software components and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C and embedded firmware development.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, controllers, sensors and actuators.
- Understanding of embedded software architecture and hardware-software integration.
- Experience in firmware debugging, optimization and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing and code reviews.
- Understanding of diagnostics, fault handling and system reliability.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Industrial automation and manufacturing equipment experience.
- Real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, UART and Modbus.
- PLC and industrial control system exposure.
- Hardware debugging tools and oscilloscopes.
- Predictive maintenance and equipment diagnostics.
- Python scripting and test automation.
