Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and mentor the Design and Engineering team for wind power projects.
- Oversee the planning, design, and engineering activities across wind energy projects.
- Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical direction for wind farm layouts, turbine positioning, and associated infrastructure planning.
- Oversee civil, structural, and electrical design coordination for wind power projects.
- Review turbine foundation designs, access roads, crane pads, internal infrastructure, and associated facilities.
- Ensure design deliverables comply with project requirements, applicable international engineering codes, standards, and statutory regulations.
- Drive design optimization, value engineering, cost efficiency, and technical quality.
- Review and evaluate technical submissions from consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of design deliverables.
- Manage design schedules, resource allocation, deliverables, and technical priorities.
- Identify and resolve complex engineering and design-related challenges.
- Interact directly with clients and project stakeholders on technical and design matters.
- Support the preparation and review of technical proposals, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
- Establish design review processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.
- Provide technical support during project implementation, construction, testing, and commissioning.

Educational Qualification





- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Power Systems, Structural Engineering, or a relevant specialization will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 10+ years of relevant experience in Wind Power Design & Engineering.
- Mandatory experience managing or leading design and engineering activities for wind power projects in the US or European markets.
- Strong experience in wind farm planning, design coordination, technical reviews, and engineering deliverables.
- Proven experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary design and engineering teams.
- Experience in managing large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Experience coordinating directly with international clients, consultants, contractors, and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of international engineering standards, design practices, and project requirements.

Technical / Required Skills

- Strong understanding of wind power project development and engineering requirements.
- Knowledge of wind farm layout planning, turbine positioning, and infrastructure design.
- Sound understanding of civil, structural, and electrical engineering aspects of wind projects.
- Experience in reviewing engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Knowledge of applicable international engineering codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Solid expertise in design QA/QC, value engineering, and technical risk management.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and project deliverables.
- Strong client coordination, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering design and project management tools.
