Role Description Design Engineers at Mikro Innotech India Pvt. Ltd. will design and develop custom automation and assembly solutions, translating customer requirements into robust mechanical and electrical designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, participating in DFMEA and risk analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, safety, ergonomics, and aesthetic standards.





The role involves supporting prototype build and testing, troubleshooting design issues, and optimizing products and processes in line with global standards and customer expectations.

Design

Engineers will also prepare technical documentation, interact with customers during design reviews, and coordinate with project teams to meet timelines and quality targets. This is a full-time, in office role based in Pune.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design for automation and assembly systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for component and system-level design.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering skills relevant to industrial automation and control systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge) and familiarity with DFMEA, safety risk analysis, and ergonomics principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards, and work within global design and quality frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in industrial automation, special purpose machines, or assembly and testing solutions is an advantage.
