Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hosur.

The Design

Engineer will be responsible for developing and reviewing designs for sheet metal components and assemblies, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements. Daily tasks include creating and modifying CAD models and drawings, collaborating with production team,



and supporting product development from concept through to manufacturing.

The Design

Engineer will also assist in troubleshooting design-related issues on the shop floor and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to develop practical, manufacturable solutions.
- Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to sheet metal components and industrial applications.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication processes, and tolerance standards is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
