Zero Forg turns the CCTV cameras already in factories and warehouses into a real-time safety, security and operations layer. Every site runs an AI server on the premises, connected to the site's cameras. The Deployment Engineer takes that server from a blank machine to a live, monitored system.

Responsibilities

Area Details

Working with Linux Run Ubuntu servers and NVIDIA Jetson devices from the terminal: users and SSH keys,

systemd services, logs (journalctl), disks, permissions and updates. Find out why a service stopped and bring it back.

Installing the OS Install Ubuntu on GPU workstations and flash JetPack on Jetsons. Set BIOS/UEFI correctly (storage mode, boot order, dual boot), install NVIDIA drivers and CUDA, and verify the GPU with nvidia-smi.

Docker-based systems Deploy and update services as containers with Docker and Docker Compose, give them

GPU access (NVIDIA Container Toolkit), read container logs, keep data on volumes, and roll back to the previous version.

Scripting Run, read and fix Bash and Python scripts for installs, health checks and log collection.

Follow install runbooks step by step and improve them.

Checking connections Get every camera talking to the server: IP plan, DHCP reservations, PoE switches, NVR access, RTSP streams (ffprobe,



VLC). Trace an offline camera to the camera, cable,

switch, site internet or DNS using ping, traceroute and nmap. Set up and check remote access (Tailscale, SSH).

Site deployment Install the server at customer sites, test every camera stream, confirm remote access before leaving, hand over to the customer and write an install report.
