Role Purpose The incumbent will be responsible for the Development and Maintenance on recent and existing systems.

Requirements

Relevant Experience

- 6+ years’ experience in Delphi programming

- 4+ years’ experience of T-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server

- Experience in Alice AI and API programming experience
- 3rd party components – Flexcel and DevExpress.
- Exposure to the Full Software Development Life Cycle

Duties and Responsibilities

Development

- Effectively investigate, develop, and maintain the Guardrisk’s in-house

systems against the industry standards and the client requirements.
- Develop software code complaint with the Guardrisk technical and

security standards and guidelines.
- Continuous system maintenance, bug fixes and enhancements as

requested by the business.

- Understand and interpret complex technical system functionality and

specifications.
- Understand databases and data relationships in respect of Change

Control





Documentation

- Support the capturing of user stories and develop the impact and

technical analysis
- Ensure that relevant knowledge of the system exist by developing ongoing

technical, user requirement and user manual documentation.

- Perform document reviews, requirements review and system

functionality overviews.

Testing

- Test and debug between programs & interface between sub-systems.
- Assist the testing team with functional testing and create documentation like test plans, test scripts as necessary.

Planning
- Contribute to Agile planning sessions and retrospectives.
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies - Bi-weekly standups / Scrum sessions.
