Role: Sr. IT Engineer – Infrastructure – Database

Experience: 6–12 Years

Location: Pune

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB administration to manage enterprise and mission-critical production database environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and manage PostgreSQL, MySQL & MongoDB databases in enterprise environments.
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and maintenance.
- Manage backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities.
- Implement and maintain HA, replication, clustering and failover solutions.
- Monitor database health, availability and performance across production environments.
- Perform SQL query optimization, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Provide 24/7 production database support and resolve critical incidents.
- Troubleshoot database issues,



perform RCA and implement preventive measures.
- Work on Linux environments and use Shell scripting for administration and automation.
- Ensure database stability, reliability, security and operational compliance.

Must-Have Skills:

- 5 years of hands-on PostgreSQL Administration.
- 3 years of MySQL Administration.
- 3 years of MongoDB Administration.
- Strong knowledge of backup/recovery, DR, HA, replication, clustering & failover.
- Strong SQL, performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting 24/7 mission-critical production databases.
- Positive knowledge of Linux & Shell scripting.
