About the Role The Sleep Company is hiring a Data Analyst to turn business data into explicit insights that support decision-making across teams. The analyst will work with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain to track performance, find trends and improve how we use data.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean and analyse data from multiple sources, including sales, customer, marketing and operations data.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business metrics.
- Write SQL queries to extract and transform data for analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns and opportunities, and present findings to stakeholders.




- Support business teams with ad hoc analysis and data requests.
- Automate recurring reports using SQL, Python and Excel.
- Maintain data quality, accuracy and documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver useful insights.

Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs and window functions.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau or a similar BI tool.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Good understanding of data analysis and basic statistics.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have

- Experience in D2C, retail or e-commerce.
- Python for data cleaning, analysis and automation.
- Experience with Shopify, marketplace or CRM data.
- Exposure to A/B testing or forecasting.
