Role & responsibilities
Key skills required
- Microsoft Defender EDR / XDR
- Microsoft Sentinel and KQL
- Microsoft Purview
- SOC L2 operations and incident investigation
- Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), using tools such as Tenable/Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, Burp Suite, or equivalent
- Threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability remediation
- Basic working knowledge of GRC, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
- Positive understanding of Azure / Entra ID security is preferred
