As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves steering the technical vision and architectural framework for bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands active involvement in aligning technical solutions with overarching business goals, fostering collaboration among team members, and continuously monitoring the scalability and performance of delivered software to meet evolving requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.




- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and technical practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, SQL, Scripting, Ignite.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Jakarta EE.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for custom software development.
- Ability to lead and guide development teams through complex technical challenges and architectural decisions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware technologies to support distributed systems.
- Experience with performance tuning, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Jakarta EE.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
