Yarn Story, a handloom saree brand specialising in traditional Jamdani weaving and handcrafted textiles, is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and responsible individual to manage its social media presence and online customer engagement.

We are looking for someone with a creative mind, a good visual sense and a passion for fashion, textiles and storytelling.

Job Responsibilities

1. Social Media Content Creation

- Conceptualise and create engaging content for Instagram and Facebook.
- Develop creative ideas for posts, reels and stories.
- Write attractive captions and product descriptions.
- Create content highlighting sarees, weaving techniques, traditional craftsmanship and artisans.
- Plan and maintain a regular content calendar.

2. Photography, Video & Designing

- Shoot product photographs and short videos using a smartphone.
- Conceptualise, shoot and edit Instagram Reels.
- Create attractive posts, stories and promotional creatives using Canva.
- Use video editing applications such as CapCut, VN or equivalent.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity for the brand.

3. Social Media Management

- Independently manage the brand's Instagram and Facebook accounts.
- Publish posts, reels and stories regularly.
- Monitor engagement, comments and audience interaction.
- Identify relevant trends and develop creative content ideas.

4. Online Customer Engagement

- Handle customer enquiries through Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
- Respond to product enquiries,



price and availability requests.
- Follow up with prospective customers.
- Coordinate with the store regarding product availability and customer requirements.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management or content creation preferred.
- Freshers with excellent creative ability and a good portfolio may also apply.
- Good command of English, Bengali and Hindi.
- Knowledge of Canva and basic video editing applications.
- Good photography and visual presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Creative thinking, initiative and willingness to learn.

What We Are Looking For Someone who can independently generate content ideas rather than simply follow instructions.

The candidate should have a keen interest in fashion, textiles, traditional crafts and visual storytelling.

Creativity, responsibility, initiative and good customer-handling skills are essential.

Employment Details

- Position: Full time
- Location: Kolkata
- Work Mode: Work from office
- Salary: ₹18,000–₹22,000 per month, depending on experience and capability.
- Experience: 0–3 years; relevant experience preferred.
