- Responsibilities

1. RFQ &
- Enquiry Management

- Handle customer enquiries and Request for Quotations (RFQs).

- Review customer requirements, technical specifications and drawings.

- Coordinate with internal departments for technical and commercial inputs.

1. Cost Estimation &
- Quotation

- Prepare cost estimates for machining and engineering components.

- Calculate material, machining, processing and other related costs.

- Prepare and submit quotations to customers within the given timelines.

- Follow up on submitted quotations and maintain quotation records.

1. Vendor &
- Customer Coordination

- Coordinate with vendors for pricing, quotations and delivery details.

- Communicate with customers regarding enquiries, quotations and order status.

- Support price negotiations with vendors and customers.

1. Contract Review &
- Order Acceptance

- Review customer purchase orders against submitted quotations.

- Check technical and commercial requirements before order acceptance.

- Coordinate with internal departments for order processing and execution.

1. New Product Development (NPD) Support





- Support the NPD team during recent product enquiries and development activities.

- Coordinate for costing, drawings and customer requirements.

- Follow up on development progress and customer feedback.

1. Documentation &
- Reporting

- Maintain RFQ, quotation and customer follow-up records.

- Support basic IATF 16949 documentation and QOS-related activities.

- Prepare reports and maintain data using MS Excel.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- BE Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

- 1-4 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering industries.

- Experience in cost estimation, costing, quotation preparation or RFQ handling will be preferred.

- Basic knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing operations.

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.

- Understanding of IATF 16949 documentation and QOS will be an added advantage.

- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.

- Good negotiation, coordination and follow-up skills.

- Should be detail-oriented, proactive and willing to learn.
