Job Summary: This role is responsible for end-to-end inventory accounting, valuation, and cost management, including maintenance of statutory cost records and coordination of cost audit. The position ensures accurate cost capture across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, leveraging SAP S/4HANA (MM, FI, CO modules), while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and robust internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage inventory accounting for Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods, Consumables, Stores & Spares, and Scrap.
- Perform inventory valuation, standard costing, product costing, and variance analysis.
- Execute inventory reconciliations, stock verification, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Maintain statutory cost records and support cost audits as per Companies Act and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Ensure SAP S/4HANA MM, FI, and CO integration for inventory accounting, Material Ledger, and costing processes.
- Monitor inventory aging,



obsolete stock, cost reduction opportunities, and profitability analysis.
- Strengthen internal controls, audit compliance, and governance over inventory and costing processes.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Manufacturing Finance
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA (MM, FI & CO modules)
- Product Costing (CK11N, CK40N), BOM, Routing, Material Ledger, Actual Costing
- Experience in cost audit, CAS compliance, and inventory controls
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills

Qualification & Experience

- CMA / CA (Inter or Final preferred) / B.Com / M.Com
- 4 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing plant costing, inventory valuation, or cost accounting
- Mandatory experience in SAP S/4HANA environment
